Return and Exchange Policy – Commercial Clients

This policy applies exclusively to sales made by FOKA International Inc. to commercial clients (grocery stores, retailers, distributors, and institutions).

All sales are considered final except in the limited circumstances outlined below.

  1. Limited Eligibility for Returns

Returns or exchanges may only be authorized in the following cases:

  • Shipping error attributable to FOKA International Inc.
  • Defective or damaged product identified at delivery
  • Clear non-conformity with the purchase order

No other reason shall constitute valid grounds for return.

  1. Strict Claim Deadlines

Perishable Products

Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery.

Non-Perishable Products

Claims must be submitted within 5 days of delivery.

Claims received after these deadlines will be automatically denied.

  1. Required Documentation

All claims must include:

  • Invoice number
  • Delivery date
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photographic evidence (packaging, lot code, date, condition)
  • Cold chain documentation, if applicable

Incomplete claims may be rejected at FOKA’s discretion.

  1. Client Responsibility After Delivery

Upon delivery, the client assumes full responsibility for:

  • Proper storage
  • Inventory rotation (FIFO)
  • Maintaining required temperatures
  • Appropriate product handling

FOKA International Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Expired products at store level
  • Spoilage after receipt
  • Overstocking decisions
  • Slow sales or commercial performance
  1. No Unauthorized Deductions

No deductions or chargebacks may be applied without prior written authorization from FOKA International Inc.

Unauthorized deductions will be treated as outstanding balances immediately due.

  1. Resolution & Compensation

If a claim is approved, FOKA International Inc. may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a credit memo
  • Replace the product
  • Provide a partial or full refund

FOKA’s maximum liability is strictly limited to the invoiced value of the affected product.

  1. Policy Updates

FOKA International Inc. reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The version published on the website shall prevail.
